Wednesday Word-Playing College Football

Want To Play College Football?

Being a former athlete (football player) and now a parent I have had the opportunity to see things from different perspectives. As an athlete I did not put too much focus on how well I did in the classroom or how I could help in the community. Now as a parent I wish I had.  As athletes, we tend to have tunnel vision. We often think we are better than what we really are and that making it to the next level of play is easier than what it really is. I think we often underestimate all the surrounding variables that can derail our plan and we underestimate the importance of being well rounded to secure our futures, regardless if they include playing sports or not. We as parents should strive to focus on making rational and logical decisions rather than just letting my emotions lead us when it comes to guiding our children.

I don’t suggest our youth give up on their dreams, however I do strongly advise them when following their heart to bring their brain along for the journey.

Varsity Football. (Stats you should consider)
